Anchored in Luxury: The Floating Home

There’s something undeniably magical about living on the water, but what if your home wasn’t just near the water, but actually in the water? Welcome to the Floating Home in North Lake, Washington, where modern luxury meets the waters of Seattle.

Originally constructed in the 1940s as a boarding house for loggers, this floating home has been meticulously remodeled to offer a new level of contemporary comfort while preserving its heritage. This project is waterfront living in its truest form.

The second you step inside the floating home, you’ll be captivated by the seamless blend of old and new. From the sprawling views of the marina visible from the kitchen and bedroom windows to the intimate connection with the ocean air, every detail of this home has been thoughtfully curated for the best living experience.

The unique forms and functions of our Kolbe doors and windows featured in this home not only invite natural light and picturesque views, but also ensure privacy and tranquility amidst the bustling dock activity.

This home features Kolbe double open french windows with African Mahogany wood interior and custom Ebony color stain off the lower bedrooms. The home also features our Ultra Series, Garden-Aire sliding patio door for privacy, ease, and interest in every room. The bedrooms, adorned with the Ultra Series french style windows, offer a tranquil retreat with breathtaking views of the marina.

Looking from the outside of the home, the blue-grey trim of the exterior seamlessly blends with the natural surroundings. Whether you’re lounging on the deck or diving straight into the water from the master bedroom, every moment spent in this majestic floating home is a testament to the magic of waterfront living.
